Brain training has recently been one of the most sold video games. It was created in Japan by Dr. Kawashima and launched to the industry in 2005. Little by little brain training has spread all over the world. These types of games are not only used as entertainment, but also to develop the brain and improve you mental qualities.

Brain training has a lot of kinds of different mini games. These can range from maths exercises to spelling and reading activities: Brain Age Check, Training, Quick Play, and Sudoku. The Brain Age Check gives the player three puzzles to complete. At the end of the Brain Age Check, the game gives to the players the answers to know how old their brain is. The Training allows the player to play a variety of puzzles. Each puzzle can be played as many times as the player likes. Quick Play can be played by anyone and allows the player to play three modes. Sudoku has more than 100 puzzles across three different modes. The objective is to fill each box with the missing numbers.

These games have suffered an important evolution. In the beginning, there were only a few games. However, slowly, more new games have appeared; you can do an exam and know your mental age and you can also look for some graphics where all your exam results appear. This gives you the opportunity of seeing your evolution.

These new games have been widely accepted, both by young and old people. Some people say that brain training rejuvenate/tar up the brain age of the player and prevents from mental illnesses such as Alzheimer, but there isnĀ“t any test to prove it. Generally, it is a good opportunity to play games and improve your mental abilities.
